I hope you enjoy this Bread Baker’s Gift Guide and find it useful!
I’ve put this post together because I always receive questions about good ideas to gift bread baker’s! Beginner or advance I know the below are some gift ideas everyone being introduced to bread baking will love.
I would have been so happy if I’d receive any of the below as a gift! because these seriously improve and make your life easier.
I’m going to start with basics and also show more advanced gifts that someone who has been baking bread for some time, will LOVE!
1) A Dutch Oven to bake amazing bread!
Yes! the best thing you can gift a friend who is baking bread, because with a Dutch Oven you will get the most amazing results! That crunchy crust a great rise…
You don’t need to buy anything fancy just a regular Dutch Oven does the work perfectly.
I found the below Dutch Oven’s for a good price.

2) The Best Scoring Knife
If you are new to bread baking it’s good to have a tool to score your bread! Because it’s so easy to get bad cuts with the razor blade.
My absolute favorite is the below
- Wire Monkey here, they have recently added new models!

3) Excellent Bread Knife
Having a good bread knife is one if my favorite gifts to receive even nowadays! Because once you make a crusty and delicious loaf, there is nothing worse than struggling to eat it!
The one I have at home is the below:

4) The Best Home Proofers
During winter or the colder months it’s hard to be consistent and having a home proofer is probably my 2nd most favorite bread tool after the Dutch Oven.
Having an artifact where I can control the temperature is THE BEST!
And if you are baking with a sourdough starter, it will be your starter’s new home from now on.
- Brod & Taylor Home Proofer – check it out here

2) Raisenne – check it out here
I love Raisenne as it’s easy to store, clean and it’s a more affordable option compared to the Brod&Taylor home proofer. One of the main differences is that Raisenne has a fix temperature of 85°F (you can control the temperature with the Brod and Taylor). However that temperature is perfect for bread baking. I made a review and unboxing of Raisenne, click here to check it out!

5) High quality fresh milled flour
Not all flours are equal… fresh flours have more flavor are nutritious, and will take your baking to the next level.
If you follow me on Instagram, you know who I’m talking about. They are local (Doylestown, PA) and ship anywhere in the USA!

6) A Food Thermometer
Bread bakers struggle keeping the temperature right on point! And that why having a food thermometer is essential to successful bread baking.
You can find them at any stores! I got mine here
7) A Home Mill
This one is for the home bakers you have already been doing it for some time and also who are seeking all the health benefits! Having a home mill will CHANGE your mind, the way you bake and how much you enjoy baking with different grains. It absolutely changes EVERYTHING!
I have the below Komo Mill, there are different sizes and attachments.

8) A Heavy-Duty Stand Mixer
Regular stand mixers, usually can’t handle a bread dough. They struggle and don’t have the motor to actually knead bread doughs.
So, a heavy-duty stand mixer is a precious gift for a bread baker!
I currently have the Ankarsrum stand mixer here which I am in love with!
But if you are used to the KitchenAid bread, you need to get the more professional ones with a stronger motor. These ones are good options!
9) A good bread baking workshop
If you are looking to gift a sourdough bread baking class or any bread workshops check out the workshops I host virtually and in-person below!

Let me know if you end up gifting any of the above and how happy you make your bread baking friend/family!
